DHP Copper
C12200, phosphorus deoxidised high residual phosphorus copper — the plumbing and refrigeration tube grade.
Adding 0.015 to 0.040% phosphorus removes the oxygen, so DHP tube brazes without embrittlement and welds cleanly. The residual phosphorus stays in solution and scatters electrons, dropping conductivity to roughly 85% IACS — irrelevant in a water or refrigerant line, disqualifying in a busbar. That single trade-off is why plumbing tube and busbar are different alloys.
