Testing and inspection scope
- Chemical composition by optical emission spectrometry against the ordered alloy
- Electrical conductivity in % IACS, measured not inferred, on copper and tellurium copper
- Tensile, yield and elongation to the ordered temper
- Dimensional and straightness check after cutting and fabrication
- Eddy current or hydrostatic test on condenser and heat exchanger tube
- Dezincification resistance test on brass for seawater service where specified
- EN 10204 3.1 certificate traceable to the heat number on every despatch
