Oxygen-Free Copper

C10200 and C10100 — copper melted and cast under a protective atmosphere so oxygen stays below 10 ppm.

Oxygen-free copper matches ETP on conductivity but has no cuprous oxide to reduce, so it can be brazed in hydrogen, used in high vacuum and deep drawn without embrittlement. C10200 covers general oxygen-free work; C10100 (OFE) is the 99.99% electronic grade used where outgassing and trace impurities matter — vacuum interrupters, accelerators and semiconductor hardware.
